Anthony Dean #81
Anthony first started racing back in 1984 where he was consistently ranked top of the 440 and 550 classes for many years. More recently he’s been racing in the Vet Ski GP class aboard his Kommander Industries GP1 and just took the 1st place in Poland July 2022. Anthony is looking to further replicate that success at lake Havasu in the US this year.

Josh Waltho #192
Josh first started racing jet skis aged 16 where he took part in the Freestyle National Tour at Burton Watersports Club, he rode a friends Kawasaki STX15F and placed overall 3rd which is what gave him a taste for the sport. With some motocross racing in-between Josh took back to the jet ski racing in 2021 and then again for a full season in 2022 where he placed 1st in the Kawasaki X2 class.
Stuart Hatfield #65
Stuart first started racing in the 1989 novice classes and won most of the winter rounds, he was winning the British but was injured and taken out for the rest of season, Stuart swapped to ride for Yamaha in 1993 which was an invitation race class only

Andy Cambridge #209 - Andy has nearly 30 years of top tier racing experience and was the London docklands winter champion back in 1994. This year he’s racing again in the classic 550 class. Andy is recognised as a dedicated spokesman and supporter of the vintage race circuit and works closely with the JSRA. Some of his previous sponsors include Six Hills Jet Ski centre and currently he is supported by Mellor Jet Ski Restorations (MJSR) and Exol lubricants.
Pete Chard #91 - Pete is a multi talented sportsman and will be racing both Classic 550 and Classic X2 at the starting line this year. Pete has decades of racing experience when he started racing as a teenager, he has shown his talents both on the lakes and off shore riding for Kent JetSki. Being one the first Yamaha riders in the 90’s, this rider has multiple passions for other extreme sports and also won the London docklands winter series in 1990. Pete is also sponsored by Loki Customs.
Sam Merrell #13 - Sam is a talented Jet Ski mechanic and tuner, as well as a championship winning Jet Ski pilot. Sam has most recently finished 1st overall in the 2021 JSRA Classic X2 championship whilst also taking a 3rd overall in his first year competing the Runabout Naturally Aspirated class. Sam has been riding for a few years now, starting his competitive career in X2 races in Belgium. He also co-founded the very popular Facebook group “UKVJS”, designed to celebrate the past and future of vintage Jet Skis and their riders. This year Sam will be battling to retain the X2 title but also chasing the Runabout NA title and competing occasionally on his 550.
